Use their creative talents to decorate the Sanctuary for Christmas and Easter. The Guild also arranges for flowers in the chancel area throughout the year. If you wish to donate Sunday flowers and dedicate them in celebration or in memory of any person or event, please sign up on the Flowers Calendar at the back of the Sanctuary. Your donation will appear in the church bulletin for that Sunday. The Flower Guild always welcomes new members. For more information, contact Sue Larsen

Our liturgical arts guild assists in the design, preparation and implementation of creative arts in worship. We've created banners and fabric art pieces, flames for Pentecost, glitter-covered shoes for a "journey through Advent" and a world for hanging our hopes and dreams.
The guild also supports Upper Sanctuary activities that explore our spirituality through creative expression (the Upper Sanctuary is open Sunday mornings between worship services for “playing” with various media).

Participate with the pastors in leading worship services by reading scripture, offering prayers, and leading responsive readings. We welcome new liturgists! This is something you can do on a regular basis or as infrequently as you like. You can schedule this weeks in advance or just fill in on a last minute basis. Our liturgists add so much to worship at DCC. If you would like to serve as a liturgist, please contact Julie Herdt in the church office (
